SCE Annual Conferences

600 middle and high-school students attended the first annual SCE student conference in April 2003. Since then, the SCE has provided hands-on science experiences for over 1500 more secondary school students at the conferences. This annual event is held each spring and provides an avenue by which the SCE can excite and inform students about science, technology, engineering and math. It broadens the perspective on future career choices and opportunities for these young students. In addition to bringing secondary school students on campus, the SCE also is beginning to feature a symposium of college students involved in engineering projects related to aerospace technologies to share their work and experience on the projects as colleagues.
