Systems Development and Integration

Helicopter

The ISSS Systems Development and Integration (SDI) team provides systems design and development services to a variety of commercial and government customers, from requirements analysis through life-cycle maintenance. Current system development includes a family of fixed/mobile integrated telemetry processing systems (FBDS, MBDS, Mini-Mobile). These systems integrate flight testing from the test planning/avionics databases through real-time processing and post-flight analysis using a combination of commercial off-the-shelf and custom hardware and software.

The SDI team also provides device driver and interface coding for the WFF93 and MV series airborne pulse-code modulation encoder decks, which are PSL-developed TDAS telemetry products. SDI personnel provide operational support for Survivability/Lethality Analysis Directorate (EMI/RFI studies), Integrated Meteorological System (programming support), New Mexico Department of Agriculture (systems/network maintenance), and high-mobility multipurpose & TD (meteorological support).
