UAS TAAC

The first UAS Flight Test Center was created between the FAA and NMSU in 2008. This site was added to the six congressionally directed sites that were later selected in 2013.

Security Protocol

  • Visitors *IMPORTANT*
    • All visitors must sign in and show government issued proof of identification at time of check-In
      • If a visitor does not have or show proof of identification, then they are not permitted to enter the building.
      • All accepted forms of ID listed below must be government issued and have a picture. (all visitors may be asked their citizenship status)
        • Faculty/Staff NMSU ID
        • Military ID
        • State Issued Driver’s License
        • CAC Card
        • Passport
    • Visitors must identify at time of check-in their point of contact.
    • ALL Visitors are required to be escorted at all times by the employee they are visiting- this includes being escorted back to the front lobby.
    • Foreign National Visitors need to be escorted at all times, no matter where they are going- this includes being escorted back to the front lobby.
 
  • Visitors and Personnel must at all times wear approved badge identification on their person in plain sight. (above the waist)


Phones, cameras, and digital audio recorders are PROHIBITED in closed areas. (lock boxes are available)
